After graduating from Oakville High School, I played baseball at Harris-Stowe State College. I transferred to Jefferson College for one season, completing my associates degree. After Jeffco I transferred to Missouri Baptist University, graduating with two Bachelors of science degrees in kinesiology and sport management. I have been instructing pitching for six years at SLBFA. I coached American Legion and high school baseball for four years, before coaching a junior high select team for the past two years. My goal as a teacher is to allow each player to reach their own personal best. I strive to get each player to the next level, whatever that level might be. I teach dedication and determination. You learn what it takes to achieve the goals that you set for yourself, not only in sports, but in all areas of life.
