SLBFA hitting clinic Scott Sullivan far left

Meet Scott Sullivan

Head baseball coach at Harris Stowe State College for 10 years. Baseball and fastpitch hitting coach for over 10 years. Scott has helped develop numerous fastpitch players achieve all-conference, all-district, all-regional and all- state status. Scott prides himself in seeing the students succeed, as many have earned scholarships to play fastpitch softball at the college level. Many parents regard Scott as the best fastpitch hitting instructor in the St. Louis metro area. Scott conducts individual lessons and at a cost affordable for all.

Practice doesn't make perfect, perfect practice makes perfect.

The "Sullivan" Method

A student's ability is only limited to the student's work ethic. All students have the ability to learn and be proficient at a given task. However, there is no substitute for work ethic. A STUDENT HAS GOT TO BE HONEST WITH HIM OR HERSELF. A student must ask: "Am I willing to pay the price for success?" As a professional instructor I will provide the How To's--the students provide work ethic. My motto is: "Practice doesn't make perfect, perfect practice makes perfect."

A 2 hour hitting clinic for teams is available and must have a minimum of 12 players.

Clinic will be run by Scott Sullivan and assisted by the teams coaching staff. Scott has just completed his best training year in his 11 year history (see academy news). The clinic will emphasize fundamental, drills, and Scotts load shift method for fastpitch players. The results of Scotts hitters are truely amazing as he continues to teach basic fundamentals and weight shift load techniques.
