Abbott is a two-time World Champion (2006, 2010) and helped Team USA win the silver medal at the 2008 Olympics. She is a Pan American Gold Medalist ('07) and a three-time World Cup Champion. Monica won the Honda Award for Softball in '07 in her senior season at the University of Tennessee after setting the NCAA Division-1 single -season strikeout record at 724. Her four-year career strikeout total of 2,440 is also an NCAA Division-1 record. Monica was a First-Team FNCA All-American all four seasons with the Volunteers. She also holds NCAA D1 career records in appearances (253), victories (189), and shutouts (112). Monica was a three-time Women's College World Series All-Tournament selection and was named the 2007 USA Softball National Collegiate Player of the Year.

12 noon - 3:00 pm: girls ages 12-14
4:00 pm - 7:00 pm: girls ages 15-18
Pitching Clinic Includes:
The clinic will focus on the fundamentals of pitching, which includes correct mechanics, drills, and game strategy. Instruction will be led by Abbott and assisted by SLBFA pitching staff and current college players.
What to Bring:
Participants should wear athletic shoes and must bring their own catcher.
Athletes should register in-advance,
as only 30 participants are allowed per session!
