Through Jake's career of baseball he was taking lessons from Jose Oquendo. Oquendo taught Jake the fundamentals of hitting and Jake is ready to teach what he learned to young athletes.
Jake played two years at Mineral Area Community College. As a freshman he was a junior college All-American. He batted .420 average, had 21 homeruns, and had 81 RBIs. He was then drafted by the Florida Marlins.
Jake transferred to Missouri State University, where he received All-Conference Awards.
He played one year with the River City Rascals.
Jake has been instructing hitting lessons for the past five years.
Jake is ready to work with boys and girls for hitting lessons and throwing mechanics. Players ages beginning with T-ball thru college.
Jake is available afternoons/evenings Mondays through Thursdays, and on Saturday mornings.
